Package: Install Detect Network Hardware
Version: 1.0

Installer fails (also in Debian) on this laptop.  After Loading
Additional Components, it freezes.  If Ethernet is plugged in, Graphical
Installer reports Detect Network Hardware, and then it freezes. By
recollection, the advanced installer allows bypassing network detection,
but doesn't continue much further.

Debian 6 installed, but of course cannot find its updates.

Ubuntu 12 was on the laptop, and the update to 14 aborted, eventually
finished by using the install disk as the repository (at that point it
was not bringing up the internet). So Ubuntu can install where Devuan can't.
