Hi,

dbus-x11 can't be installed in Ceres because a broken dependency:

dbus-x11 : Depends: libdbus-1-3 (= 1.10.8-1+devuan1) but 1.10.22-1+devuan1
is to be installed

This package provides "dbus-launch" which is used by some applications to
find the running DBUS server. I found it by kdenlive, which failed with
this error:

$ kdenlive
"Session bus not found\nTo circumvent this problem try the following
command (with Linux and bash)\nexport $(dbus-launch)"

There are two ways to get around this issue:

1. Running dbus-daemon manually:
dbus-daemon --session --print-address (prints out ADDRESS) (in another
shell) export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS="ADDRESS" ; kdenlive

2. Installing libdbus-1-3 from Beowulf (this is the version which can be
seen below)

Regards,

Gergely Tomka

Gergely,

I have just tested this and there is no dependency issue now.
So closing.
