hey,
having exactly the same issue as :
https://bugs.devuan.org//cgi/bugreport.cgi?bug=111
problem introduced with 3.2.7-5 in beowulf/ceres.
had to boot to recovery mode, install older 3.2.7-3 version of eudev +
libeudev1, rebooted and now i have a system i can report this bug.
bug #111 seems pretty old, but seeing exactly the same symptoms.
lightdm without kb/mouse/trackpad. nothing i can do really other than
poweroff completely - go to recovery.
system is a lenovo thinkpad t420s.

the problem should be solved by the latest version of eudev (3.2.7-6),
available in beowulf and unstable. Please try and report.

i can also confirm the fix with 3.2.7-6. eudev now works as expected,
and this bug can be closed.
