Having 2 USB drives with ntfs-3g filesystems mounted simultanously and going into single user mode, one ntfs-3g filesystem would be unmounted and another ntfs-3g filesystem would stay mounted. With a single ntfs-3g filesystem mounted, going into single user mode would unmount that ntfs3g filesystem. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? manually un-mount the filesystem that stayed mounted after entering single user mode worked. * What was the outcome of this action? * What outcome did you expect instead? *** End of the template - remove these template lines *** -- System Information: Distributor ID: Devuan Description: Devuan GNU/Linux beowulf/ceres Release: 10 Codename: n/a Architecture: x86_64 Kernel: Linux 5.2.0-rc3 (SMP w/4 CPU cores; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages ntfs-3g depends on: ii fuse 2.9.9-1 ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libgcrypt20 1.8.4-5 ii libgnutls30 3.6.7-3 ii libgpg-error0 1.35-1 ii libntfs-3g883 1:2017.3.23AR.3-3 ntfs-3g recommends no packages. ntfs-3g suggests no packages. -- debconf information: ntfs-3g/initramfs: true ntfs-3g/setuid-root: false
