Dear Maintainer,

How to reproduce:

- suspend by either timeout or "suspend" option in XFCE menu
- attempt to resume by hitting the power button (as usual)

observed result:
- nothing happens. Laptop requires a power cycle to start.

expected result:
- laptop resumes from suspend
