Dear Maintainer,

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?

Trying to use a Linux git head kernel with amdgpu module and Cape Verde
graphics card

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Obtained amdgpu/verde_uvd.bin from
https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git
and copied it to /lib/firmware

   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Thanks for this. However this is really not a Devuan issue since you are using a
custom kernel and upstream firmware.. You should report it to the providers of
the firmware.

Thanks.

Mark
