Trying to use a Linux git head kernel with amdgpu module and Cape Verde
graphics card

Obtained amdgpu/verde_uvd.bin from
https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git
and copied it to /lib/firmware
* What was the outcome of this action?

Thanks for this. However this is really not a Devuan issue since you are using a
custom kernel and upstream firmware.. You should report it to the providers of
the firmware.
