None of those are standard Devuan or Debian packages

Can you reproduce this on a vanilla Devuan installation? 

Also, I don't even see an xorg crash in the logs you sent -- it ends with
successful exit. However, bb|hcb suggested on irc:

 <bb|hcb> I am just guessing - if the first X client exits - maybe the problem
  is that there is no initial always on app started?

 <bb|hcb> Something to try to rule what I said out is to add
 e.g. "/usr/bin/xeyes -geometry 1x1+2000 &" to the session, so it gets started
 and stays...
