Subject: libgudev-238 incompatible with eudev

Package: libgudev-1.0-0
Version: 238-2
Severity: grave

It's been several days now since this broke my system, and there appears
to be no Devuan bug report (or activity) except on Debian main, which
was closed since it's eudev-related:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1041703

From that bug report:

This update renders X unusable as no input devices are left.

(EE) Failed to load /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/libinput_drv.so:
/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libudev.so.1: version `LIBUDEV_247' not found
(required by /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libgudev-1.0.so.0)

Downgrade to libgudev-1.0-0_237-2_amd64.deb fixes the problem.

-----------
Note that they suggest filing against eudev, but actually it's a problem
with gudev. The only way filing against eudev would make sense is if,
like Debian main, it were not the official, default udev.
