This is on a fresh test installation of excalibur after running:

  tasksel install console-productivity

I am aware that the spamming is a matter for the Debian package but I am
raising here first in case it also points to a more general issue in new
Excalibur installations that is worth reviewing before release!

This is a QEMU VM running on Windows.
