Thanks for this.

Devuan does not fork src:zram-tools and uses Debian's packages directly without
recompilation. This issue is evident on non-systemd Debian installations and is
already reported in #960524. The Debian BTS also contains a suggested script.
It would be worth adding your voice there and verifying the suggested patch
works (or improving it).
