Package: emacs
Version: 1:26.1+1-3.2+deb10u1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
     1. using "emacs -nw" in stterm
     2. xterm-mouse-mode
     3. M-x customize-variable
     4. Info-default-directory-list
     5. click with mouse, first button, on "[INS]" (try add new entry)
   * What was the outcome of this action?
emacs "freezes" no reaction to keys or mouse, have to kill it.
emacs prints code in the echo area like:
     down-mouse-1 ESC [ < 0 ; 3 ; 1 5 m ESC ...
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
adding new info default directory path.

Ronald,

Thanks for this.

However, neither emacs nor stterm are forked packages. Devuan uses
Debian's packages directly, so you would be better reporting this issue
on Debian's BTS.

Thanks.

Mark
